Cerritos is looking for a driven and professional candidate to join their team as Community Association Manager. The Community Association Manager will assist in developing the Association Department and must be self motivated, a team player and able to work independently.
Duties for the Community Association Manager will include but not be limited to the following:
- Provide hands-on team member assistance
- Will be responsible for advising, education and assisting the board of directors in overall day-to-day operations as well as the business of the association according to all applicable laws and governing documents
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with all property owners, Board of Directors and Committee members
- Prepare reports including detailed budgets and financial reports for properties
- Obtain bid proposals
- Oversee accounting, monthly financial reports and prepare annual budgets
- Schedule, attend and prepare distribution materials and/or minutes for board of directors meetings
- Collection of monthly assessments and payment of monthly operating expenses
- Conduct property inspections to determine violations and repairs and/or maintenance needed. Coordinate general maintenance and major repairs as needed
- Meet and negotiate with outside contractors and vendors; oversee work performed
- Manage and oversee operations, maintenance and administration
- Investigate complaints and resolve problems
Pay: $35,000 per year, salary

Schedule: Monday through Friday, must be flexible to work any consecutive 8 hours (or more depending on needs) 8:30am-10:00pm. Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed.
To be eligible for the Community Association Manager candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and independent car insurance
- Must have exceptional time management and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word. Excel and Outlook)
- Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Must be able to learn new programs quickly
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high stress, demanding environment
- Must be able to take direction and constructive criticism
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Legislative affairs and civil code knowledge a plus!
